An undercurrent driving both my art and teaching is the undeniable idea that we cannot create, live, or even exist in isolation.

Connection is an inextricable part of

what it is to be human

—and an artist. Everything we experience, everything we know, and everything we are is connected to the people and places around us, and the artwork we create. I want to educate people to find the deeper connections between their art and life. I hope to empower people to use art as a way to make meaning of the world around them, and leave it a better, more inclusive place than they found it.
